LIVE at KBOO 90.7 FM, we are having “Thunder Road” come to the KBOO radio studios to play some of their tunes, then later sit down for an interview with us.

Dan P Thompson is an absolute local music legend. He’s been rocking music since the 1960s. Guy is the hardest working man in area music.

He still leads the Thunder Road band with Levi Wall, another icon, and my longtime friend Leah Hankins on vocals. Danny is also a music consultant with the Yamhill County Fair. He’s looking for bands to compete in a Battle of the Bands for this summer’s fair. It’s a great opportunity for exposure. Get to know Dan and you are a good way to getting your music act booked all over the place.

Special thanks to Danny who not only donated his band to play at the Dragging the Gut Festival different times, but also that he donated his music consulting for the festival too! He knows everyone and would brainstorn late nights with me and give me leads for musical acts for the festival. The guy has a heart of gold. He was a friend of my family when I was a kid.
